This series contains programs and related material about various events celebrated at the School. Included are programs for a Christmas in 1925, a military contest sponsored by the Jefferson County Council of the American Legion in 1945, a centennial in honor of Thomas Greene Bush, a benefactor, in 1947, and a semi-centennial honoring Dr. and Mrs. David M. Weakley, the former a Superintendent of the School. The Centennial, illustrated by photographs of portraits of Mr. Bush, his wife Alberta Williams Bush, and the Bush Chapel at the School, contains biographical sketches of participants: Major General John C. Persons; Letitia McNeel Arant (Mrs. Douglas), Board president; Irene Jordan (Mrs. Arnold Caplan), Metropolitan Opera singer and born at the School where her father was Band Instructor and her mother taught violin; and Georgia Warren, New York artist and painter of the portraits. Biographies about Mr. and Mrs. Bush are also present. The Christmas Show was presented by the Lyric Theatre of Birmingham at the School with the Lyric Wonder Orchestra and B.F. Keith Artists. This program also contains photographs.
